Spring Favorites

With spring fast approaching (halleluiah), we wanted to share a few items that we are loving for this time of year. A lot of these products are self-care related which is always a good thing. Between these products and the the spring/summer clothing must haves, you will be set!

I find during this time of year I am constantly needing to exfoliate and moisturize! I have tried lip scrubs in the past and have never really loved them or felt like they worked. I ended up trying this elf lip exfoliator and absolutely love it. I really like that it isn’t too harsh or rough but definitely has enough exfoliant to give you results. I started using this as part of my AM and PM skincare and saw fast results when using twice per day. This is the only lip exfoliator I’ve used that is a stick and I prefer way more than a scrub. The application is much easier and less messy. The best part about this product is that it’s $4—Elf did it again!

This was a product I was super hesitant about at first. I am wicked picky with perfume and have never given into a celebrity perfume line. However, this was one of Alison’s Christmas asks and when I smelled it, I fell in love! It’s so different from any perfume I would normally wear and it’s long lasting. The top notes include lavender, pear, and bergamot. The middle notes are whipped cream, praline, coconut, and vanilla orchid. The base are musk and woody notes. Alison has been mixing it with a spritz of Gucci Bloom which smells amazing together. This inspired me to mix the Cloud Perfume with one of my more flowery scents—I tried it with my Dior Blooming Bouquet and that is also lovely. I would highly recommend trying this one out!

I have tried so many different texture sprays and powders in the past and this one is hands down the best I’ve ever used! It’s a little more on the pricey side at $37 but since this isn’t a product I use every day, it lasts. The reason this brand stands out from all the others is because it doesn’t make my hair sticky, heavy, or greasy. It’s a very natural feel that gives my hair just the right amount of texture without making it feel gross. I’ve used this with curly, wavy, straight, and blown out hair and love it just the same regardless of how my hair is styled. In my opinion, this product is worth the splurge—not to mentioned Navy has a ton of deals and offers going on, on their website so most of the time you can score a discount!

This is one of my new favorite candles. I am so obsessed with Rose Water and Ivy that I never try other spring/summer scents. However, when I smelled this one at Target, I knew I had to buy it—it smells even better when it’s lit. I have had this candle burning in my home office and bedroom most days since I bought it and will definitely be getting another. Anyone who is looking for a fresh and flowery scent to welcome in spring, go snag this candle for only $10 at Target.

This is one of my favorite gifts I’ve received in a long time. It’s definitely an item I didn’t know I needed and now I have no clue how I went so long without it. I keep this charger on my nightstand, and it has a port for my phone, watch, and air pods. The fourth part is for the Apple pen (which I don’t have so I don’t use). It’s really sleek and compact so it looks a lot nicer than have a whole bunch of cords plugged in everywhere. I also like that the phone charger is just a charging pad and doesn’t require me plugging in my phone. In general, this would be a great piece to have on your desk or in your office too. You can charge all of your devices at once and I would say it takes the same time as any regular charger.

I had such a visceral reaction to this product immediately after trying it. I was at a friend’s house and quickly needed to brush my hair and fell in love with this brush the second I used it—I went home that night and bought it. I have no idea why I had such a strong reaction to this product, but it’s really that good. I am a huge fan of the Wet brushes but this one blows the other ones out of the water. I love the breaks in the brush rather than having a solid back, I find it goes through my hair a lot easier whether it’s wet or dry. These slats also make it so much easier to clean your brush! I really cannot explain why I love this so much because a brush is a brush, right? Wrong. Just trust me on this.

This purchase was influenced by TikTok. I have been using various Ordinary products for quite some time and love this brand in general. This product is great for stubborn black heads. I apply it on dry, freshly cleansed skin, leave on for about 10 minutes, then gently wash it off with warm water. I use this masque about once or twice a week on my nose, T zone, and chin. I’ve been using this religiously for 3 months and already see some improvements in my skin. For $12 I think it is absolutely worth it!

If you’re someone who needs white noise to fall asleep, this is the machine for you. I have needed a fan or some type of white noise in order to fall asleep for years. I bought this noise machine about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. It’s great because it has multiple settings for timers or if you want it to play non-stop. I personally like having it run all night, so I really like that it’s an option. Another great thing is that none of the noises loop so there isn’t an annoying pattern. There are a ton of different sounds from water noises, to storms, birds chirping, different fan settings, etc. It can get pretty loud if you have it across the room or just prefer having it turned up. It’s currently on sale for on Amazon for $16.99, which is close to half of what I paid for mine. If this is something you’ve been thinking about getting, I would definitely suggest this one!

This powder is hands down the best one I’ve ever used. It is such great quality and blurs any blemish you may have on your skin. It gives you a really smooth finish to your makeup but is not cakey at all. I would say it provides medium coverage if you are using it on its own. I use it on top of my liquid foundation, and it sets my makeup perfectly. I have combination/oily skin so halfway through the day my makeup starts to look really shiny, but not with this powder! It is a bit pricier but absolutely worth the money. I don’t use this product every day but I’ve had this one for about 9 months and will still be covered the next few months. You can use it sparingly because you really don’t need much to get the wonderful result.
